Books written in ts dialect

I was trying to read books about kakatiyas in Telugu, but they were written in krishna guntur dialect. Did no write books in Telangana dialect? Why books written in Telangana dialect are so rare, I can't even find old books(written before andhra merger) which are written in Telangana dialect Please recommend some if you know
