Need some insights about Pub Culture in Chennai.

Hi guys, I'm a guy (22M) who moved to Chennai 6 months ago from a Delta District for work. As someone who's been to chennai many times since childhood and now moved here for work, I'm curious and want to know about the pub culture in Chennai. I'm a social drinker who only drinks like once or thrice a year when our friends have a get-together, I'm not trying to get myself wasted but just want to explore the nightlife of Chennai once in a while or so. It maybe not vibrant like Banglore or Pondicherry (which some of my friends said) I want to know the do's and don'ts, unspoken rules, basics to be followed, how much I may have to spend a night, things I have to see as a stag, which nightclub is recommended and stuff like that. And yes, I don't have a gf rn and we recently broke up in good terms. My in-hand is 15k and spends 7.5k for rent+food. So keeping 5k a month for saving leaves the rest for spending. I don't have to worry about sending money to home because my family is well to do on their own. Any information is appreciated and worthy of upvote! :)
