Private Town Buses in Tamil Nadu: Reckless Driving, Speeding, and Relentless Honking - Who Do We Complain To

I usually prefer government buses (the old green ones), but this time I took a private town bus to Kanchipuram before switching buses. Here’s what happened: I boarded the private bus at 11:45 AM, and it reached Kanchipuram sharply at 1:02 PM—a journey of roughly 59 km. This includes a 10-minute stop at a bus stand and frequent stops in villages along the way. The route had: * **Patchy roads** (about 5 km of one-way rural road) * **Dense traffic** in Kanchipuram city and another intermediate town * **State highways** that are narrow for a standard highway, with heavy traffic and risky overtaking zones Despite these conditions, the driver was speeding recklessly, constantly honking (I ended up with a migraine), and overtaking vehicles dangerously, even on blind turns. At one point, he drove faster than most cars on the highway, overtaking heavy vehicles in situations where I wouldn’t dare in a compact car like a Swift. I still have the ticket and know the bus service name. Is there any way I can file a complaint about this? Will any action be taken if I report the incident now?
