English equivalent word for the tamil word : Moraikura, moraipu, morachi-fying

I'm writing a screenplay and i have to show that a character is "morachi-fying" at another character I can't seem to find the word, i've been thinking for a couple of hours Staring won't work, any ideas? for eg : shankar is "morachifying" at preethi any ideas people? please help me
