Did anyone understand the ending in "inimel" song by Shruti Hassan?

I remember listening to this a few days after it came out, I saw the video as well. I didn't understand the ending. I didn't care about it as much. But now I'm dying to know, just why? Why does she choose him? Why does she decide to start a relationship with him if she knew it was doomed from the very beginning? It's obvious that they're both quite toxic to each other by the end of it, and the guy's behaviour screams anger issues(most prolly physical abuse involved with verbal abuse). Why does she decide to do it all over again....dating, living together, marriage, divorce.... Just why🫥. Also, If you'd the chance to see into the future and see how the relationship with a potential partner turns out in the long run, Nd you find out that it's meant to be doomed, would you still pursue the relationship or leave it at that?
