Quick Internship or Long-Term Growth? Need Advice on My Learning Path!

    # Hey everyone, I need some advice from experienced developers. I’m currently in my first year of BCA and working in a hardware-related IT job. I’ve decided to take a **2-month break** to focus on **building my programming skills** and hopefully land a **quick internship** before going back to work. I already **know C and Python** at a beginner-to-intermediate level. My ultimate goal is to become a **software developer or a cloud computing engineer**. But right now, I’m wondering what’s the best way to use these 2 months: 1. **Learn HTML, CSS, and JavaScript** to get a quick internship in web development, then continue learning software development/cloud computing while working. 2. **Skip the internship and fully focus on software development or cloud computing**, knowing that I’ll have to keep learning it until I graduate. My concern is that software development and cloud computing are **long-term learning paths**. Meanwhile, web development could help me **get an internship faster**. But I don’t want to waste time if switching later would be difficult. I can't quit my job because my family is facing financial difficulties, so if I don't get an internship, I'll have to continue working in the hardware-related job. What would you recommend? Should I **go for web dev to get an internship**, then switch to software/cloud later, or **stick with Python/C and focus on long-term growth**? Would love to hear from anyone who has been in a similar situation! Thanks in advance! 🚀
