[Help] Opinions from fellow developers needed on a life altering decision.

Hey guys, Let me share a bit of history of myself. I belong and graduated from a tier 2 city, this was in 2022, I was lucky enough to start my career with an internship in 2021 and had a lot experience than my peers upon graduation. In 2023, decided to pursue masters in Canada and probably settle there as well. However, the decision turned out to life altering for me and family. I couldn’t find part time jobs there, did everyone’s assignment and just scrapped by the end of month. Seeing this my family asked me to come back and also i felt to get back here so quit my program and back by the end of 2023. Upon arrival, i was happiest person out there, started helping out my father in his business and things were going well until my friend reached out to me with a reference at a German startup he has being working in. I applied and luckily got in as well, although salary was but low but still better than what my tier 2 city could offer. For entire of 2024, I worked there, work life balance was there, on top of it met a lot people with different cultures. But, the company had a serious management issue, like they were not able to figure out a plan to generate enough revenue. On top of it, they got funding from an Indian investor who asked to setup an Indian entity in Pune and move everyone to Pune,India. They asked me as well I told them I will able to do it by may 2025 as i was well settled here with my family and also got married in December 2024. Come January 2025, the upper management was still about to login from their new year holiday, on January 8th everyone started receiving mail from current CEO that he is stepping down and they have to downsize the organisation (no surprises, I guessed this was gonna happen someday, just not this soon enough), so essentially they fired everyone, shut down the Pune office and yeah, that was it. I was laid off. Now my current situation is I wanna work in IT, but for comparable compensation I would need to move to Pune, Hyderabad or Bangalore. Or I can go work and potentially expand my fathers business which has good overlap between IT and services (cctv and networking). If i move to Pune or other cities, what can I expect the expenses to be, lots of unknowns. Also we are planning to start family pretty soon but want my parents to be around my child as well. Tldr; Should i let go of my passion for IT just because remote jobs are scarce or should I move to metro city and test out my skills there?
