Best Municipality But Worse Citizens

Indeed, SMC is the second-best municipality in India (it truly deserves the first rank, though)! But the citizens… 😭😭💔 Today, I was coming back from Amroli (I live in Sachin—probably the only Redditor from this area 😭). Everything was fine on the bus until the second stop, where a huge crowd entered. The bus got full, and those still outside started pushing their way in. The driver tried to manage the situation, saying, “Pichhe bus aa rahi hai, ye ek hi bus thodi hai!” But people kept forcing their way inside (uncivilized behavior 😭). This chaos continued at every stop until Kapodra, where the driver noticed something unusual. The bus brakes weren’t working properly, and even the doors were in bad shape. He announced, “Bohot bhid ho gaya hai, bus ko service me le jana padega.” Everyone had to get off there. Most people stayed quiet, but 2-3 folks got angry at the driver. After that, the bus probably went for repairs. I booked a Rapido and just reached home (couldn’t wait for another bus because that station was crowded too 😭). And well, here I am, sharing my diary moment on Reddit 😭🙏.
