Is this itraday or will it incurr any penalty?

Situation: I have 50 shares of stock 'xy'. Now the stock is down. Can I first buy more of the stock(long-term) to lower my avg price and sell to do tax loss harvesting(from already owned 50 stocks). Both on same day, in order buy first and then sell.
