Does sector rotation happens daily?

I'm currently learning & doing intraday trading (Cash segment only), I want to understand if a for a particular sector if money is flowing more does in general it continues to flow in that particular sector for many weeks or it changes daily? Clarifying my question by eg: Let's say If IT sector is up by 5% on some day, does it stays up for few days/ weeks or it changes daily? Like next day IT sector might ne -5%? Also from where I can check high low in sectors?
