Does Fundamental Analysis really work. Any other easier and simpler approach to investing?

I have always wondered if I can find the right stocks using fundamental analysis because there are so many metrics to consider and if there is a stock which is undervalued wouldn't other analyst and investors find it already. Can I as an individual retail investor make money using this approach. Or relying on the recommendations of analysts is better. Is there anyone who invests only on the recommendations of different analysts that we see. Would love to hear everyone's thoughts and experience on this
