Big loss- Dont know what to do

My portfolio was at 82% Net returns and 31% XIRR on 8th december. Today my portfolio has fallen to 30% net and 14% XIRR. I have lost close to 8 lakhs in valuation from 8th december to today and now i dont know what to do next. I was a strong supporter of the stock market and was investing close to 50% of my savings in stocks. I dont understand when this situation will improve and when will i be able to recover my losses. I wanted to buy a car this year, looks like i will have to manage with my old one for 2 years more.
