Need to Invest about 8L

My RSUs just vested recently and the company stock is not performing and is very very volatile. So I need some suggestions on where to invest it, I was thinking Nifty 50 and Nifty next 50 or go for the Nifty 500 asI think it will be a safer option,let me know what you think is the best way to invest this amount.
