Is intraday trade better then delivery?

I'm currently learning to trade (only stock trading no f&o) using paper trading, I want to know if I do intraday trading by taking less profit margin but do more numbers of trades that way my capital is locked for less time & risk of uncertainty is also low, moreover I can take can benefit of leverage and also in downwards market can trade by selling. In long run if I keep doing it will it be more profitable compared to swing trading? What are cost involved in intraday trade vs swing trade as no. of trades will be higher in intraday? My current assumptions: I'm seeing 15min or less interval chart. I'm always setting SL & target
