Has anyone used AI Tools for Solution Design and Architecture (I will not promote)

I am currently early stages of starting a tech product business. I am hoping to be able to do as much as possible before involving anyone else from a technical perspective. My background is product/tech consulting, and I would consider myself technical-enough to ask the right questions, and be able to decipher whether something makes sense or not. What I am looking for is a tool that would provide me high-level architecture and a solution after a bit of prompting... essentially looking for a CTO type of tool. Any...

Launched on Product Hunt, only got 3 upvotes… am I doomed? - I will not promote

So, I just launched my SaaS, Live Face Swap in the cloud, on Product Hunt, and… 3 upvotes. That’s it. Meanwhile, I see other products getting hundreds within hours. I thought a real-time AI face swap tool would be interesting for creators and brands, but maybe I completely misjudged the audience? Or does timing and initial traction matter that much? Would love to hear from others who have been through this. How do you recover from a Product Hunt flop? Is it worth trying again, or should I focus...

Community building before the launch (I will not promote)

Hey guys! I am currently working on two start ups that definitely need a community around them. One already has a product available to the public, the other one is in the development stages. how should I go about building a community around the product in both of these stages. One is in Longevity field the other is in social networking. Should I write blogs, share short form content, film vlogs and on what platform should it be created? I am definitely interested only in people who would come...

Validate My Idea (I Will Not Promote)

I have an idea for concierge service tailored specifically for my apartment building. The Setup: I live in an apartment that was formerly a hotel, meaning all units are inside one building with a single main entrance and a lobby. Access is restricted, residents need key cards to enter and use the elevators. The building is in a downtown area but isn’t conveniently located near grocery stores or other essential services. The Opportunity: Because of the building’s layout and location, I believe I can create a monopoly on most...

What are your favorite podcasts/videos/books I will not promote

I appreciate everyone who dropped some knowledge and helpful information/resources on my last post about having an idea and feeling stuck on where to go. That was yesterday, since then ive been working on a basic pitch (that I am going to continue to adjust and work on as I advance). Working on a basic foundation and building a very dumbed down website that again I am going to continue to expand on, but it helps put my thoughts into reality even if its just for me at the...

I will not promote - Would people actually use a tool that helps with networking, or is this just another unnecessary tool?

I’m trying to figure out if this is a real need or just a nice to have tool. The problem: - Most people say networking is the #1 way to land a job, but no one really teaches how to do it. - Colleges focus on resumes & applications, but referrals are what actually get people hired. - LinkedIn exists, but most people don’t know how to actually use it for career growth. So I’ve been thinking, would people actually use something that helps make networking easier? Like, something...

How to get users on the phone as a college student/first time founder (I will not promote)

I’m a college student find reoccurring problems in a certain space I have zero experience in this space, Howverr if want to solve some problems My biggest issue is getting people on the phone, or to even respond to my messages. I feel like no one responds to cold personalized emails and follow ups. Linkedin not really. For founders who talked to users and solved problems what were some things that worked for you/you would recommend.

Where to start with e-commerce and Shopify? (I will not promote)

Background: 3 time founder/ceo/entrepreneur here. All three businesses are alive and well and at various stages of growth. I have different equity structures/funding etc with those businesses (actively running 2 as CEO, but likely even narrowing my focus to just one as it is doing well and scaling with new revenue streams etc). Ideally would like to grow it and then transact at a certain point, in the next 2-5 years. 2 of the businesses are B2B and one is a B2C and while not a non-profit, the strategy...

Lost on where to start. I will not promote

Hi guys, I’m currently working for a plumbing company and have been for 10 plus years. I’ve had a dream of owning my own business. I’m really starting to hate working for someone else. I want to start an equipment rental business, skid steers, excavators, lifts and much more. Where I live is a huge upcoming place and there’s no where to rent anything. You have to drive 30+ mins to find a mini excavator or anything. I’d like to be right in the middle of everything. Really don’t...

Fighting for our lives here, need customers asap (I will not promote)

What's the most effective method of gaining clientele quickly? Anyone have experience with sales through LinkedIn? We’re a small bootstrapped team based on the west coast of Canada and we're fighting for our lives. We've been operating for a year now but only went fulltime official this past November.  I've really lucked out with having found such a talented team that's enjoyable to be around and is committed to making the company work - they go above and beyond all the time and it actually makes me a bit misty...

bad startup experience (I will not promote)

I’ve recently been interning at a startup and it’s made me question whether I would want to work at one. Can someone tell me whether this is a common experience? There was poor leadership on my first day when the founder was having her own convos with coworkers when she just said hello to me. I thought this was really weird to do infront of an intern who LITERALLY just walked in. A good leader would work on breaking the ice with the intern. Also in a meeting, the...

Is it possible to raise capital in the adult industry? "I will not promote"

I want to raise capital for specific projects with a turnaround time of about 6 months to 1Y. In my particular industry (Adult Industry) people have a hard time raising capital due to the scrutiny of the industry and on the content side of things, the payment processor issues due to the large amount of charge backs. In this particular venture chargebacks and content will not be an issue maybe the FTC and SEC, but I have a plan and I have a hard time conveying that information to...

Best Platforms for Early-Stage Startups?(i will not promote)

Hey everyone, I’m curious to hear your thoughts—what are the best platforms out there for startups in the early stages? Specifically, tools that help with financial management, legal support, marketing, and anything else that makes the journey smoother. I’m open to any suggestions, and if you’ve got personal experiences to share, I’d really appreciate it. Thanks in advance!

This is my first ever attempt at starting something of my own so I have very little knowledge of how to get the word out. Any kind soul willing to share hoe they got their initial traction?

preferred method for setting up a business entity? [I will not promote]

I get that "there are so many options" and that I should "pick the one that's right for my business" ... but I don't know which incorporation strategy is right for my business. I'm building a bank linking app (similar to plaid) so I don't want any personal liability if somehow peoples' bank logins get stolen. Of course I'll take every precaution from a security perspective, but there's always a risk. I'm also Canadian, on a temporary US work visa, so that complicates it a bit more (not sure...

Consistency problem? I will not promote

I am struggling with being consistent. I know that as a startup founder, I am supposed to do a few things everyday and that's when compounding effect will kick in. However, everyday, I am missing few important tasks. These tasks are like posting on twitter or reaching out to 5 new people on linkedin. How do you guys manage it? I am not looking for ai tools suggestions to automate these as I won't learn anything in the process if I rely on such tools.
