How do I start ? Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well and that your entrepreneurial life is successful. I have an idea I believe in 1000%, I want to develop it and see how can I execute it. Problem ? I don’t know where to start and what to do first .. finding a co-founder ? Developing a brand identity ? Working on the tech (app + website) ? Build partnerships with relevant market stakeholders ? Any advice is appreciated, whether it’s general or some tool or framework recommendations ! Thank you... 1 0 replies

What legal headaches do you have running your startup? Hey friends- I've been thinking of starting a company specifically tailored towards solving the legal needs of startups. There are lots of areas in here that might be worth exploring: CLM, Due Diligence, etc., but I'd like to learn more. What are your biggest legal headaches? What products have you tried to solve them? Why have they failed? 4 0 replies
Resources on how founders did their early interviews to validate/refine ideas and offerings I would like some resources on what (didnt) worked on how early founders did their early validation, especially for B2B ideas. It is true that if one cant find people for early interviews, it will be hard to find people to sell to. But even if one is from the same field and/or can search for or know appropriate people to reach out to, there is not a lot of battle stories and resources on 'how' people went about it from there, and what worked and equally what didnt.... 1 0 replies
How I Lost a Client Over a Contract (and What I’m Doing About It) A few months ago, I lost one of my best clients. Not because of bad service or missed deadlines, but because of a simple contract mistake. I was juggling too many tasks managing clients, sending invoices, keeping the business running. The contract renewal date slipped past me, and by the time I realized, it was too late. They moved on to another service provider. That experience hit me hard. I’m not a lawyer, and hiring one for every contract just isn’t realistic. I tried using templates, but customizing them... 5 0 replies
How I Found Reliable Talent for My Bootstrapped Startup Finding reliable talent for your startup can be tough, so I wanted to share some things that have worked for me and my startups: 1. **Hackathons**: Hackathons are everywhere, and they're great for spotting talent. Check out the projects not just for ideas but to find skilled people. Hackers love recognition and knowing their work opens doors to new opportunities. Many of them are eager to start their own ventures. *BTW - Solana is running an AI-focused hackathon right now.* in case you are interested 2. **Discord Communities**: Join... 4 0 replies
A different strategy - no co-founder but hire a smaller team with much higher equity. Like founders-mode but with really senior people. I'm working on another startup idea but I want to do it differently this time. This will be my fourth. My second I brought in a real CEO that was basically a well known CEO in the industry at the time. He helped us raise money but he basically took completely control of the company and was an idiot frankly. He killed the company, managed to sell it to a well known startup, then killed that company too! The third I was CEO by myself and ran it for... 2 0 replies
UK homemade ointment/salve Hi! I’ve been making for 6 years couple of types of organic homemade salve/ointment and although I said I’ll never sell it, every single person that ever tried it,told me that I should. I make a big batch 2 3 times a year, and absolutely everyone is asking all year round,if I can give them some more or when will I make another batch again. I know it is really a good product, and anyone who would try it would definitely want more,so I know it would work as a... 5 0 replies
Giving two board seats to investors in pre-seed We’re in the final stages of closing our pre-seed investment round, and we’re facing a bit of a dilemma. Two VCs are investing: VC A is putting in $200K, and VC B is investing $150K. The issue is that both investors want a seat on our board. From what we’ve read, it’s generally advised to limit the number of investor board seats during the early stages to avoid losing control over strategic decisions. The standard practice seems to be to add *one* investor board seat per funding round. We... 2 0 replies
How to organize data when starting a company? As the title implies, I'm trying to start my own company, but I have so many notes everywhere, it starts to be overwhelming and I feel like I'm falling prey to analysis paralysis. I have a cork board with cards, I use Trello, One Note, I have Excel spreadsheets, so many Word documents, etc. but it all is super confusing. What do you guys do to streamline the process and make it visually convenient? Thanks a lot! :) 5 0 replies
Are technical co-founders supposed to build the entire app!? (As a technical founder) I came across a post yesterday about someone being fed up with not being able to find a technical founder to build their app. As someone with 15 years experience as an engineer and in startups I think this is mind blowing. It’s a little bit like someone saying I started a company that goes to the moon and for 50% of the company, I will let you build the rocket! A technical founder who has to build the app undoubtedly would spend months working nights and weekends getting... 3 0 replies
Anyone know services which help dissolve a Delaware C Corp I used Stripe Atlas to make my C Corp, but turns out its not compliant in my country, India due to changed regulations. So, I gotta dissolve it now and start over. Stripe Atlas has 3 partners SimpleClosure LegalInc Elevate but they're charging quite a lot. Please share any other services or CPAs/CAs who can help us dissolve asap as we want to finish it before the New Year, so we wouldn't have to file taxes for 2025. TIA :) 4 0 replies
Hey Mentors and Experienced Founders, I Need help! Hi everyone, I'm a teen entrepreneur, building a rental-focused consumer services startup in India, currently in the MVP stage. I've completed a few raw orders under some suppliers & now preparing to raise a pre-seed/seed round while also applying for some global fellowships. I'm already part of a small fellowship that has committed a small grant to help develop my MVP further. At the moment, most of my tie-ups, connections & records are in raw notes and datasheets only :") Coming to the point, I need help in making... 1 0 replies
Groundwater startup for real estate!!! I'm considering starting a company to help real estate developers in metro cities like Bangalore with groundwater assessments for their projects. The idea is to guide them in understanding water availability and planning sustainable usage. Do you think this would be useful, and would developers be willing to invest in such services? Be brutal please. 5 0 replies
Want to switch to AI chat bots for our in-tool support. Suggestions? I'm co-founder of a growing SaaS startup. We use a "traditional" in-tool chat and knowlesge base today, both accessed through a help-widget (we use Product Fruits). The thing is, nobody bothers looking there, so we end up getting tons of emails/calls from our customers who need help. And i get it, i hate scrolling through guides myself. So instead of customers emailing us, i would love them to have a AI chat widget thar can tell them how stuff works (and refere to us if the bot gets stuck).... 1 0 replies
Startup idea Hey, I am pretty to this start up culture, but I was thinking of starting one,I was thinking of saas, where we will optimize your cloud resouces, as we know there are many microservices running at all companies, but some microservices rarely get request to process, but still we need to spend lot of resources on it. So O was thinking a building a community from where each service will buy a resource for how much time they needed, else very lof minimum resource will be provided. Is it... 2 0 replies
Humility vs growth Let's say you're someone who values humility. I think it’s pretty fair to say these days that self-promotion plays a pretty important role in growing a startup. How do you go about this trade-off? I just think it’s an interesting paradox and wondered if anyone had thought about this and what conclusions they’ve come to. 4 0 replies
Beta Recruitment Im at a place where I need to recruit my first beta group. This piece will be niche and I’m debating going to paid beta user route. What are pros and cons, the biggest thing for me is time; and I’m LIMITED on that. If the advice is find them myself, what has been the most successful method? 3 0 replies
How Much Time Did Your MVP Take? What Methods Did You Use? Hello everyone! In the entrepreneurial journey, an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) is a significant milestone. I’m curious about how much time you spent building your MVP and what methods you used to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. 1. Timeline: How long did it take for your MVP to go from concept to launch? 2. Methodology: What development methods did you adopt? Such as Agile, Lean Startup, or others? 3. Tools and Technologies: Which tools or technologies were particularly helpful in the process? Share your experiences and stories, and let’s learn... 5 0 replies
Dropped everything this year, moved back in with my parents, built my first real product in 3 days, and sold 50 copies in 50 hours After six years in my field, I hit a breaking point. I’d been working hard, but nothing I was building felt personal or meaningful to me. Late last year, I split ways with my last gig, and everything I’d been avoiding hit me at once. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted, but I knew I couldn’t keep doing the same thing. In January, my partner and I packed up and moved out of our place to live with my parents. It wasn’t where I thought I’d be at... 2 0 replies
