iOS developer here, where to find designers to team up?

As the title says, iOS developer here. I'd love to team up with a designer to brainstorm and create products together. Is there an obvious place where designers and developers can connect to each other? The idea would be to experiment, develop a few products together and, if any of them gets traction evolve to a startup situation.
