How are you all marketing? [i will not promote]

Hi, I’ve had a slow start with my start up and would love some guidance on some marketing ideas. I’m curious as to how everyone else is marketing their start ups? I have an app, and i am finding it difficult to get it out there sufficiently. It can’t just be facebook ads, surely? Also, it claims i have had a lot of link clicks, but this doesn’t seem to show in my analytics. Is there any other site like Reddit i could be posting on? Any Ideas? Thanks in advance
