Competitor sold for $160 million yesterday

Started working for a SaaS startup about a year and a half ago. I was given equity as part of the compensation package and was the first employee. The company had a great idea, but poor execution, and for the last year and a half as made poor progress. Yesterday the news broke that a competitor we were very intertwined with sold for $160 million. They had a very similar product but just executed on the idea much better than we did. Happy for the people at our competitor, but damn part of me can't help but think what if.
