Does anyone else feel like they're just embarrassing themselves on LinkedIn?

I've been at it for a long time and honestly it's not been great. I was director level for a great exit long time ago and I got hooked. Ten years later, just a series of failures. My fault? Their fault? Investors faut? Universe's fault? Fucking Greg's fault? Who knows. I keep learning a lot, and I do think I get better each time. But it's scary. I digress. I certainly don't try to misrepresent myself on LinkedIn, but each short story I tell is my version that makes myself look valuable, and well, I feel embarrassed when I think people who were involved read it and they have their version of the story. Does that make sense? Am I alone?
