UK homemade ointment/salve

Hi! I’ve been making for 6 years couple of types of organic homemade salve/ointment and although I said I’ll never sell it, every single person that ever tried it,told me that I should. I make a big batch 2 3 times a year,and absolutely everyone is asking all year round,if I can give them some more or when will I make another batch again. I know it is really a good product, and anyone who would try it would definitely want more,so I know it would work as a small business.However I’m so confused by the information I found so far on how to legally sell it. Does anyone have experience with this? I’d appreciate guidance,tips or general information.
