How to get users on the phone as a college student/first time founder (I will not promote)

I’m a college student find reoccurring problems in a certain space I have zero experience in this space, Howverr if want to solve some problems My biggest issue is getting people on the phone, or to even respond to my messages. I feel like no one responds to cold personalized emails and follow ups. Linkedin not really. For founders who talked to users and solved problems what were some things that worked for you/you would recommend.
