Fundraising challenge for the startups in current times.

I have been working with different startups in US, UK and Europe. The common trend that I have seen in the past few years is that businesses start with a great idea, zeal and panache. But the execution diminishes as the funding dries up or investors act as mafia i.e. pressurise founder to do something that deviates from their vision. What challenge have you faced as founders in your company related to fundraising? Also, happy to answer questions related to cap tables and scenario modelling during priced round.
