Rankmath Set Homepage as Article Schema - is this a problem?

My one site is showing an Article schema set for the home page. When I google it - it now shows a date in the meta description for the page. Problem is I set the home page to not have schema and it's still showing. Is this a problem? Does anyone know how to completely strip the schema out of a page?
