Local Service pages

Hi everyone. I am just getting into the world of SEO. I currently working on building out serivce pages as well as local service pages. I am a therapist in NYC. Some of my service pages include things like DBT, ADHD, etc. My local pages will be something like "DBT Upper West Side". I am wondering what some best practices are for local SEO pages in terms of word count, etc.
