ICANN Question

I was just having a nosy on ICANN, trying to familiarise myself with something new in my relatively new SEO journey, and came across the following code. 'clientRenewProhibited' It mentions that this is typically reserved for those in legal issues etc, but how serious would this be? Does this mean the site is effectively a dead man walking, and will be deleted upon the lapsing of the domain? Will it be purchasable? Apologies if these are dumb questions and feel free to tell me if they are! Also, because I'm a cynic I know what I'd think seeing this, and I'm not 'asking for a friend' or anything like that.
