Technical Seo Help - Google Merchant Center caused my site to be flagged for safe search filter

I was getting impressions and ranking 1 for my business name. But something i changed is preventing me from being discovered on google. I changed some target keywords on my home page, i also used the app smush to turn all pics into webp files to improve load times, as well as set up google merchant center briefly but then shut it down because i feared my products would be flagged. Doing so dropped my impressions completely and made my site way less visible. In november i resubmitted sitemap and removed index.php after my views dropped drastically i also started using wp minify and rocket loader. Im not sure if thats messing my site up or not.
