Ranking factors

At this point in 2025 what are the main factors for Google’s organic rankings? Do backlinks not matter anymore? Are they taking GMB score and # of reviews into consideration? Does directory listings hold any real value? Obviously if 1 site has them and another site doesn’t it does. Also yes consistency matters. Onsite SEO still makes a difference but how do they even know what “quality” content is? Does it have to do with the traffic? Bounce rates? Are there any new tips or tricks that I am not seeing out there? I feel like researching SEO is such a hassle..
