Managing Google Small Business Profile with Brand Update

Hey there, looking for some folks with more expertise on the small business side. Working with a company that recently rebranded. They have a google business profile that has a bunch of reviews that they wanted to maintain. We rebranded the profile page following some other advice I found on this sub and a few other posts, all went well. However, the google business profile ranks for the old branded keywords and does not rank for the new branded keywords. Any ideas or best practices on how to trigger the algo to associate with the new brand name and display the google business profile in the SERPs?
