Is this a sign of recovery from recent core update?

I got properly screwed in the recent anti-spam update, dropped from 500 impressions a day to 0. Average position dropped from 22 to 66. Today I noticed my site is back to 20, although no effect on impressions/clicks (still 0). Can I take this as a sign of recovery in progress?
