I haven't found the best way to do keyword research

I'm stuck and confused since I have the sense that every SEO specialist out there with a YouTube Channel or Tik Tok (or SEO guru) has their own way to do it. I know KR requires analysis but I'd like to hear your thoughts, suggestions etc. Thanks in advance! (Working for an accounting firm now and trying to get them some trafic)
