Expand to another city

Hello, I own a painting business in a town of about 10,000 people. I have great SEO in my local town. I live about 30 minutes away from a town of about 125,000 people. I want to get business in that town. Unfortunately I don't organically rank for SEO there because of where I am located. What's my best option to get business in that town? I have a few options as I see it: 1. I create a new painting company in that town. I don't really like that option because I would have to basically start at zero with SEO and work my way up. 2. I rent an office in the bigger town and move my Google business there. This option is appealing but it's an extra expense (for the office) and then I lose the SEO in my current town. 3. I try to buy a business with good SEO in the bigger town. I have my eye on a couple but how much should I offer and how would I approach the owner? What are everyone's thoughts?
