ccTLD change or not. Recommendations please.
My client is a UK based physiotherapist who is leaving the UK and moving to Spain. Her website is fairly well established (10yrs) and uses a .co.uk domain. She does not have a GMB listing in the UK, but she will want one in Spain as she is setting up a fixed address clinic rather than working from home and will want to be found on Google Maps. She owns the .com domain for her brand name for legacy, and the .es is available if needed. SEO recommendations please: Should she keep using the established .co.uk ccTLD even though it is country-specific and might be hard to target to a Spain-based client base? OR should she move to a .com or .es domain and 301 the traffic from existing to new? (She will not be returning to the UK). Do you guys have any specific experience with this kind of thing? Thanks4
