can closed/secure networks companies block non-rated website of google?

is this like a known method? not sure if this a proper forum to ask this also. my app's website is being blocked by several copmanies. even though my SSL rating is A+. and we've passed a penetration test like a few months back. so what's the big deal? is it that strict, that low ranked google sites will be actually blocked?
