Can a company have two websites?

I created a website for my company focused on remodeling, but I also want to establish a separate website for roofing, which is a different niche. Should I use the same name for both websites, or would it be better to abbreviate it for SEO purposes? Is it advisable to use the same company name for two different websites? What do you advise me?
