"Bad URL's" in Search Console and "hidden" penalty?
Hi guys I’m seeking some advice regarding an SEO issue. I have two identical webpages (except the language) targeting two different countries. \- One is performing extremely well—it’s ranking #1 for several competitive keywords. \- The other was also doing well until it got flagged with “Bad URLs” in my Core Web Vitals on Google Search Console (for slow speed) I’ve since resolved those issues, and for the past 14 days, Search Console has shown that this page now has “Good URLs.” However, it’s been nearly three months since the initial “Bad URLs” diagnosis (progressing from “Bad” to “Needs Improvement” to “Good,” then “Not Enough Data,” and back to “Good”), and my rankings still haven’t recovered. Based on every other metric and comparison to competitors, I believe this page should be ranking much, much higher than it currently does. The ranking drop happened exactly when the “Bad URLs” issue appeared. My questions are: * Will my website eventually bounce back to its former ranking, and if so, how long might it take? * Since my business hasn’t officially launched yet, would it be better to start over with a new site and redirect all backlinks there? If anyone has experience dealing with “Bad URLs” and has seen their site re-rank after fixing them, I’d greatly appreciate any insights you could share. There is no manual penalty or any other issue. Technical SEO is top. And I've got a much better domain authority that other websites ranking higher.3
