Sounds sus: Let me know if it's a scam.

My mom and her friends are on a trip to Udaipur. Today their guide/cab driver took them to some local shops, one of which was a jewellery shop. The shopkeeper showed them some earrings claiming to be made of moissanite gemstones. The cost of those earrings were 10k (she bargained it to 8k). She hasn't picked them up yet and intends to go there day after before she flies back home. Something doesn't seem right but she's pretty convinced. I just want you ask you guys if it's actually legit. Thanks in advance.
