Is the Taj Mahal Worth It on a Short Trip?
I’m visiting Jaipur for my Indian friend’s wedding, and I’m so excited! I’ll be in Jaipur for 3 days, but I want to explore more of Rajasthan after that. I can only take 10-12 days off work. I’ve heard amazing things about Udaipur and Jaisalmer. And, of course, the Taj Mahal. The problem is, I don’t want to rush around and feel tired the whole time. I’d rather enjoy the most beautiful and important places. Delhi doesn’t sound fun to me. I think it will feel too crowded for me personally. I like the idea of Udaipur more. But I’m not sure how to plan my trip. Is Jaisalmer worth it? It’s far away. Is the Taj Mahal a must-see? It’s in the opposite direction, but I know it’s world-famous for a reason. I want to spend a lovely holiday with my mother, seeing beautiful places and making great memories. I just don’t want to spend too much time in cars and trains trying to see \*everything\*. How should I plan 10-12 days to see the best of this area? (I’ll spend 3 days in Jaipur for the wedding. I might start the trip there, and my mother will join me after the wedding). Would love your advice!1
