Camel Wool blankets from Jaisalmer

I went to Jaisalmer last week and the driver who we had hired dropped us off to a shop for local shopping. The sales man of the shop did a good job in trying to convince us about the Camel Wool Blankets (4500 for king size) but I thought they felt more like microfiber than wooly. So we came back without buying anything. Now that I try to find about them on Google there's very little about them. Was it a case of fraud attempt? Did I dodge the bullet or miss a good deal? Please let me know if anyone has any idea about it.
