Maharaja Duleep Singh Picture ca.1848

This photo shows Maharaja Duleep Singh, ca.1848. This photo is possibly one of the few photo in history that was actually take in the Sikh Empire. This photo was taken around 1849 by John McCosh. A Scottish army surgeon and war photographer who travelled with the British East India Company as a surgeon and photographer during the Second Anglo-Sikh War (1848–1849) and the Second Burmese War (1852–1853).
