Hi , I have started to speak some at home with father & very determined to learn it. My father is from Lahore and said we speak western Punjabi and it’s called MAJHI. ITS SOO HARD TO FIND THE STANDARD PAKISTANI DIALECT 😭ً the YouTube videos are brief and the good ones are in the other dialect. From I've seen most of what the average uninformed typical uneducated shallow westerners thinks of as traditional Indian Desi culture is more North Indian Punjabi culture. This is because many of the first Indian Desi migrants to the West were from Punjab and many of them introduced their cooking to the West. Why was Ludhiana Metro cancelled?

Authorities stated that it was not viable to have metro in the city However, considering it's the biggest city in Punjab state and also one with the highest population north of Delhi, I think a metro would have been a decent public transport here. Not to mention there are cities like Meerut having less population than Ludhiana which would be having metro in the coming years(already in construction) and many are on the way to have Metro in their cities.
