Slow internet browsing

Why is internet browsing so slow? What is your experience in your locality? Regardless of the internet provider (local, Airtel, Jio, etc.), even with a 200 or 300 Mbps line, and using a high-performance laptop connected directly to the router via Cat6 cable, browsing common websites like Wikipedia is surprisingly slow. This observation stems from experiencing significantly faster internet speeds outside of India, where both general browsing and downloads are rapid on similar high-speed plans. I am aware of the following factors, but I'm unsure to what extent they apply to this situation: * Internet access can be affected by network provider performance and congestion. * Speeds vary based on the connection type (LAN, Wi-Fi 2.4GHz/5GHz). * Website server performance, local caching, and content delivery network (CDN) effectiveness. * Client device processing speed. * ISP ping delays and latency. * External interference impacting network cabling. * Cloudflare DNS speed testing shows results consistent with my internet bandwidth.
