Safe places to view sunrise on 1st Jan

Hi all, me and my girl gang are now planning to watch the first sunrise of the year instead of partying/clubbing. We are thinking of going to Sinhagad/Parbati Hill. Will they be safe to watch sunrise? If you have other places in mind to view sunrise at (safe ones), please drop some recommendations. Also keep in mind that we are girls, so safety is a must must.
