Pune and it's Animal Rescue Centres

Saw a kitten today while I was traveling. It was injured and couldn't walk properly (malnourished too). I tried to feed it and reach near it but with no luck. So I tried contacting animal rescue shelters. Found no help. One was not picking up the call, other was only accepting case through WA msg but was not reading my messages. I tried few more. They were of some help but they too couldn't rescue. Thanks to SAW Charitable Trust, they atleast provided me with some numbers that could be of help. I was waiting there for one hour, I was already late to a venue and unfortunately had to leave. Anyways, I have forwarded the location to some centres. Hope they pick it up before its too late. I couldn't take it home as I'm a student and no one wants animals in my house. I'm really feeling guilty. What's the use of opening rescue centres if you are not willing to rescue a poor soul?
