Pune Environment

What the heck has happened to Pune environment??? Earlier it used to be so good and even acceptable during traffic jams. Now even a small signal stop creates so much pollution and kicks up so much dust that I have to regularly wash my eyes. I understand the flair to ride your own vehicle to work and other places, but there should be something which we can do to minimise the pollution levels. Even for some reason, the greenery has come down significantly. Maybe I am just a young man going on a rant, but I feel that being from such a well known place, and simultaneously being educated would mean that Pune people would be smart about their environment and how to maintain it.
