Kindness is over rated!?

Hello Punekars, So here's the story.... Yesterday, I ordered my lunch from Swiggy. And after he gave me my parcel, he said his vehicle ran out of petrol and that he needed 50 rupees. He went on to say that he needs to deliver more stuff blah blah blah. This is about his everyday income. I said, fine. I'll give it you. He asked for my number. I said, "It's okay you can keep the money." He insisted and said that he was an honest man and didn't want anyone's money. I insisted he could keep it, but he seemed adamant. I gave him my number. And behold!!! I felt stupid then. Feeling more stupid now. This sick world just keeps on showing me kindness is bullcrap.
