Witnessed an accident due to Careless driving

I was riding my Scooty towards Hinjawadi phase 3 and in front of Domino’s phase 2, where narrow road(due to metro station construction) expands, first sight is container trucks parked on the left leaving no space off the road, next comes JCB from wrong side pushing all the traffic towards middle and right lane, post that traffic tries to merge back to left lane, A girl in Scooty is in front and I was behind her maintaining safe distance leaving just enough space between me and trucks parked on the edge of the road so that if right lane vehicles pushes or any obstacle comes one can turn a slight left. Then Enters a guy with pulsar at a high speed, almost touching me and just about squeezing between the girl in Scooty and parked trucks, then dude decides to cut two lanes using just a little space between Cars then BOOM, dude hits a bike coming slowly from wrong side. Gladly no major injuries but no one wearing helmet. It always makes me think, even if we follow rules and drive carefully our life is always in danger and never in hand as long as these people live. And it is us who drive slowly gets all the traffic stops.
