Mundhwa bottleneck road widening?

Been hearing that this road will be extended for ages but I see no further updates other than a news article here and there. Any idea as to when we can expect the widening to commence? Its horrible driving on that road as a daily commute, on top of facing the wrath of these tyre puncture guys hanging out there like vultures telling you that your vehicle has less air😀. From what I gather, pmc is currently waiting for final approval for widening and another article says that a underpass might be in the pipeline.
