Lakes and water bodies are dying
This reminds me of Bellandur lake in Bangalore. Heavy sewage and industrial dumping turned the lake into a swamp. The froth was through out the year and there have been times when it would catch fire and then float into nearby areas. Over urbanization is killing what once made this city great. Instead of reviving rivers and lakes more tress are being cut for stupid projects like walkway around the rivers. Do we really need PMC? Should we stop paying taxes?4
