It seems as if.... it is a reasonable endeavor by Jains to appease Hindu divinities( Goddesses). It is being claimed that these are 'Jain Tirthankaras' Shashan Devis (Jain Goddesses) portrayed at Navamuni Gumpha ( cave) at Khandagiri, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, These Goddesses never match with any of the Hindu Goddesses iconography...Not sure... because the Jain literatures are so interwined with our scriptures, that it becomes very difficult at times.
